Minedu: Esperamos «en marzo de 2021 estar en condiciones» de iniciar clases semipresenciales

El Ministerio de Educación (Minedu) espera que para marzo del próximo año se den las condiciones para iniciar las clases con una modalidad que si bien no sería la presencial, permita el contacto entre estudiantes, señaló el titular del sector, Martín Benavides.
«Lo que yo planteo es que podamos en marzo de 2021 estar en condiciones de que los niños, niñas y adolescentes regresen bajo una modalidad distinta a la presencial, que podría ser la semipresencial, de manera que logremos incorporar nuevamente a los niños y niñas a un trabajo donde se vinculan con otros estudiantes», dijo el titular de la cartera a Conexión en RPP Noticias.
En ese sentido, Benavides Abanto indicó que «así como la sociedad se está cuidando para que podamos reactivar el país en términos económicos, también debemos cuidarnos para que nuestros niños y niñas regresen a las escuelas».
«Es importante manifestar esta intencionalidad que va a venir acompañada de todos los protocolos necesarios para que eso funcione de manera adecuada«, añadió.
El ministro afirmó, además, que estas estimaciones se realizan teniendo en cuenta que una eventual vacuna contra la COVID-19 podría tardar en comenzar a distribuirse masivamente en el país, por lo que su sector se centrará más en establecer los procedimientos para un regreso seguro a las aulas.
«La vacuna evidentemente para la fecha de marzo no va a ser impletamentada (masivamente), va a haber un inicio de implementación de la vacuna. Nosotros vamos a trabajar más en términos de comportamiento, de cómo debemos organizarnos como sistema educativo».
En ese sentido, señaló que el Gobierno espera que «haya una reducción sustantiva de los contagios para que en esas condicones se puedan desarrollar las clases con protocolos adecuados y continuar con el servicio».
Asimismo, descartó que el año escolar pueda extenderse a enero y febrero del próximo año.
«La fecha de culminación del año escolar es a fin de diciembre, reconociendo que hay estudiantes que no han logrado incorparse al ‘Aprendo en casa’. A esos estudiantes les vamos a dar una nivelación en verano… No tenemos la idea de que enero y febrero se dé una continuacion del año escolar«, zanjó.
